　　上周开会的时候，头儿安排下个月的值班，”11月1日，张三；11月2日，李四；……”，当时我就想，如果换一种方式读，”张三，11月1日；李四，11月2日；……”，会不会更好些。

从Blog on 27th Floor得知Gmail可以查看office和PDF文档。非常不错！早知道这个就不装OO了。

Google Operating System：

1. 最方便的拼写检查工具────支持多种语言，不过中文检查不出来了
2. 最简单的Office及PDF查看工具────确实是不错，现在我把单位邮件都转发到Gmail了，再有人发半页纸的Doc格式的通知也不怕了，浏览器里直接点开，不用等硬盘猛响开Word了，机器破啊。
3. 下载附件最快的方法────这个跟网络关系很大，当然Google那边能力是足够的。但它能把几个附件合成一个Zip来下载，还是很不错的。
4. 写信时就能自动上载附件────这一招十分不错，暗中进行，节省时间。
5. 最好的即时通讯────主要是和邮件集成，或者也可以在浏览器直接聊天。
6. 基本的防毒软件────倒是没见它查出过毒。
7. 一个Mp3播放器────虽然没特别功能，但确实能放MP3，用的是Flash。
8. 一个RSS阅读器────邮件上面会显示这些Feed，但我把它关了。
9. 超级邮件账号────可以把其他邮件转发过来统一管理，还能冒充其他邮件给人回复邮件，我这么干了。
10. 个人助理────可以追踪包裹？没用过。

这10个功能里最有用的，我觉得是9-2-4这三个。总之Gmail确实是不错，现在只要开着浏览器，就会开一个Gmail，虽然会切换Gmail账号，但一般都会有一个开着。而只要开机，肯定会开着浏览器吧。

　　曾经读过一些公式OCR方面的资料，今天发现已经有人做出来可用的项目，支持实时手写识别，并且已经用在PDA上的计算机代数系统中。牛人多啊。

　　一方面希望可以提高一点翻译水平，另外一方面也算是为开源做点贡献。不知道可以坚持多久，不知道是不是译的太烂。所需要翻译的内容技术性太强，有很多句子看的懂，就是不知道怎么译，而且我不太清楚在译的过程中，应该遵循什么样的原则。
